Bombardier EBIT up 29% in 3QFY2012

Bombardier revenue up 16% - financial highlights for three months ended 31-Oct-2011:

  • Total revenue: USD4623 million, +15.7% year-on-year;
  • EBIT: USD243 million, +28.6%;
  • Net profit: USD192 million, +30.6%;
  • Commercial aircraft deliveries: 24 aircraft, compared to 19 in p-c-p;
    • CRJ700: Three, compared to six in p-c-p;
    • CRJ900: Two, compared to three in p-c-p;
    • CRJ1000: Four, no deliveries in p-c-p;
    • Q400: 15, compared to 10 in p-c-p;
  • Net commercial aircraft orders: 4 aircraft, compared to 10 in p-c-p;
  • Order backlog: USD22,300 million, +16% when compared to period ended 31-Jan-2011;
  • Total assets: USD24,270 million, +0.8% when compared to period ended 31-Jan-2011;
  • Cash and cash equivalents: USD2708 million, -35.4% when compared to period ended 31-Jan-2011;
