Bombardier 2Q2015 results in line with expectations

Bombardier revenue down 6% - financial highlights three months ended 30-Jun-2015:

  • Revenue: USD4620 million, -5.5% year-on-year;
    • Commercial aircraft: USD598 million, -20.7%;
    • Aerostructures and engineering services: USD472 million, -2.3%;
  • EBIT (loss): USD226 million, -12.1%;
    • Commercial aircraft: (USD10 million), compared to a profit of USD17 million in p-c-p;
    • Aerostructures and engineering services: USD42 million, +90.9%;
  • Net profit: USD125 million, -19%;
  • Net profit: USD28,784 million;
  • Cash and cash equivalents: USD3105 million;
