Boeing reports strong 3Q2014 results and raises 2014 EPS guidance

Boeing revenue up 5% - financial highlights for three months ended 30-Sep-2014:

  • Revenue: 66,294 million, +5.5% year-on-year;
    • Commercial airplanes: USD16,110 million, +15%;
    • Boeing Capital: USD91 million, -3.2%;
  • Operating profit (loss): USD5448 million, +7.9%;
    • Commercial airplanes: USD1797 million, +11%;
    • Boeing Capital: (USD11 million), compared to a profit of USD35 million in p-c-p;
  • Net profit: USD3980 million, +18.7%;
  • Commercial airplanes deliveries: 186, +9%;
  • Total assets: USD92,653 million;
  • Cash and cash equivalents: USD6655 million;
