Bahrain Government vows to ensure Gulf Air is a top priority

Bahrain Government vowed to ensure Gulf Air continues to be a top priority, after Prime Minister, Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, met to discuss the condition of the airline on 08-Feb-2010 (Gulf Daily News, 09-Feb-2010). The ministers stressed the need to restructure and back the carrier, stating it is a key pillar of the national economy and an iconic aviation symbol in the region.

Bahrain Government: "Backing the national carrier is a duty and protecting employees' rights is essential.
