ASUR to appeal ruling by Mexican antitrust regulators

Mexico's ASUR announced it plans to appeal a ruling by Mexican antitrust regulators that barred it from bidding for the new airport in the Caribbean region's Riviera Maya (Latin American Herald Tribune, 3-Feb-2011). ASUR is reportedly being excluded from the bidding for the new airport to prevent the company gaining monopoly control over air transport facilities in the region.
