Argentina's tourist arrivals increase 84% in Jul-2010

Argentina's Indec National Statistics Bureau stated the number of tourist arrivals in Argentina increased 84.2% year-on-year in Jul-2010 (Buenos Aires Herald, 15-Sep-2010). A total of 236,571 international visitors entered the country via the nation's main airport, Ezeiza Airport. Meanwhile, tourists spent USD281.6 million in the month, a 67.5% year-on-year increase, while 152,299 domestic citizens travelled internationally from Argentina, a 19.7% year-on-year increase.
