Arab unrest a boon to UAE economy: Dubai Airports

Dubai Airports CEO Paul Griffiths said the UAE aviation and tourism industry will benefit from unrest in other areas of the Middle East, with foreign tourists re-routing their travels from troubled regions to the UAE (Gulf News, 07-Mar-2011).

Dubai Airports: "I don't think the unrest in Egypt or other parts in the Middle East and North Africa is having any negative effect at all. Actually, I think it is quite positive. Some people that were considering other areas are coming to Dubai because they are seeing it as a very stable place to be." Paul Griffiths, CEO. Source: Gulf News, 07-Mar-2011.
