ANA LCC to offer 'overwhelmingly low fares'

A&F Aviation Co, the LCC subsidiary of All Nippon Airways, stated the carrier will offer "overwhelmingly low fares" to attract passengers, according to CEO Shinichi Inoue (Kyodo News, 12-Feb-2011). The carrier stated it would be able to secure distinct advantages over other LCCs by offering short-haul international services to China and South Korea.

A&F Aviation Co: "It is the mission of (the low-cost carrier) to offer overwhelmingly low fares rather than deprive existing carriers of passengers. [By offering low fares] we will make the whole aviation demand bigger by boosting potential demand. As our budget is likely to be severe in the first three years, we expect to start offering services to places where we can secure some profits," Shinichi Inoue, CEO. Source: Kyodo News, 12-Feb-011.
