AIT Dublin: JetBlue wants to ensure employees do not adapt legacy mindsets

JetBlue CEO David Barger at CAPA's Airlines in Transition conference in Dublin said (12-Apr-2013) he is concerned that as the carrier nears 15 years of service and has a number of employees who have been with the carrier for over a dozen years, they do not adapt legacy mindsets. That might place demands on wages and benefits, creating a riff within the company's employees, hurting culture. Mr Barger said he wanted to ensure "entitlement mentality cannot kick into the culture."
