Airline business confidence improving: IATA

IATA released (08-Feb-2010) its Airlines Business Confidence Index Jan-2010, which showed significant improvement in all indicators of airline business confidence, with 76% expecting profitability to improve over the next 12 months. Meanwhile, expectations for passenger and cargo demand in 2010 have risen back to 2007 levels, with over 82% of airlines expecting further gains in passenger demand and 72% expecting improved cargo demand.
