Airbus sees more than USD100 billion in orders in Japan in next 20 years

Airbus forecasts Japanese airlines would acquire 518 new aircraft over the next 20 years until 2028, valued at USD106 billion, including 53 dedicated freighters (Kyodo, 03-Dec-2009). The Japanese airline fleet is expected to increase from the current 436 to 548 aircraft by 2028, a 26% increase.
