Airbus sees a third of aircraft demand from Asia in next 20 years

Airbus senior VP product strategy Chris Emerson stated Airbus expects airlines in Asia to take delivery of 8,560 aircraft in the next 20 years, representing a third of the global total (Reuters, 07-Mar-2011). Airbus expects demand for 3,360 wide-bodied aircraft and 5,200 new aircraft in the 100-210 seat category.
