Airbus and Boeing attempting to sign order with Pegasus

Airbus and Boeing are currently attempting to sign an order with Turkish LCC Pegasus which could be worth between USD4 billion and USD5 billion, according to a report in Today's Zaman. The order will be for between 40 and 50 A320 or Boeing 737 aircraft as the airline seeks to expand. Pegasus CEO Ali Sabancı said, "we are negotiating, no decision has been taken."Pegasus operates 40 aircraft at present: two A320s, three A319s, two Boeing 737-400s and 33 737-800s. The carrier has orders for another 12 737-800s.
