AirAsia Japan granted Air Operator’s Certificate
AirAsia Japan and Japan MLITT announced (06-Oct-2015) the carrier has been issued its Air Operator's Certificate. Details include:
- Shareholders: AirAsia Investment Ltd, Octave Japan Infrastructure Fund I GK, Rakuten Inc, Noevir Holdings, Alpen Co Ltd, Fintech Global Trading Incorporated;
- Base: Nagoya Chubu Airport;
- President and CEO: Yoshinori Odagiri;
- Aircraft in operation: 180-seat A320;
- Launch schedule: Spring 2016;
- Flight routes: Nagoya Chubu-Sapporo Chitose/Sendai/Taipei. Flight plans are due to be submitted at a later date. [more - original PR - English/Japanese]
