Air New Zealand passenger numbers down 1.2% - traffic highlights in Sep-2009:
- Passenger numbers: 1.2 million, -1.2% year-on-year;
- Short-haul: 1.0 million, +0.5%;
- Domestic: 764,000, +1.5%;
- Tasman/Pacific: 262,000, -2.2%;
- Long-haul: 158,000, -10.7%;
- Asia/Japan/UK: 64,000, -15.8%;
- North America/UK: 94,000, -7.8%;
- Short-haul: 1.0 million, +0.5%;
- Passenger load factor: 82.3%, +4.5 ppts;
- Short-haul: 79.0%, +7.2 ppts;
- Domestic: 76.8%, +4.5 ppts;
- Tasman/Pacific: 80.2%, +8.6 ppts;
- Long-haul: 84.7%, +2.7 ppts;
- Asia/Japan/UK: 81.9%, +2.3 ppts;
- North America/UK: 86.7%, +2.8 ppts;
- Short-haul: 79.0%, +7.2 ppts;
Three months ended 30-Sep-2009:
- Yield: -10.3%;
- Short-haul: -11.6%;
- Long-haul: -12.3%;
