Air New Zealand passenger numbers up 0.7% – traffic highlights for Oct-2013:

  • Passenger numbers: 1.1 million, +0.7% year-on-year;
    • Short-haul: 951,000, +1.3%;
    • Domestic: 688,000, +0.3%;
    • Tasman/Pacific: 263,000, +4.0%;
    • Long-haul: 110,000, -3.8%;
    • Asia/Japan/UK: 37,000, -14.9%;
    • North America/UK: 73,000, +3.0%;
  • Passenger load factor: 82.7%, +1.0 ppts;
    • Short-haul: 83.1%, +0.2 ppt;
    • Domestic: 81.8%, +0.6 ppt;
    • Tasman/Pacific: 83.7%, stable;
    • Long-haul: 82.4%, +1.7 ppts;
    • Asia/Japan/UK: 81.7%, +4.7 ppts;
