Air New Zealand and Virgin Atlantic announce codeshare

Air New Zealand and Virgin Atlantic announced (12-Jan-2011) a codeshare agreement on services between the UK and New Zealand, expected to become effective on 28-Feb-2011 after the relevant government approvals. The agreement follows interline cooperation between the airlines and a reciprocal frequent flyer partnership agreement. Virgin Atlantic passengers will be able to connect onto the following Air New Zealand services:

Air New Zealand passengers will be able to book on Virgin Atlantic's London Heathrow-San Francisco and London Heathrow and Hong Kong-Sydney services. [more]
