Air France to launch A380 services to Dubai; redeployed from Tokyo

Air France stated (08-Nov-2011) it will launch A380 services to Dubai (daily) from 05-Dec-2011, with the service possible by the aircraft's redeployment from Tokyo for the winter 2011/12 season due to lower seasonal demand in Tokyo. The carrier will also add Los Angeles to its A380 network on 28-May-2012, with daily A380 service on the sector, which is served twice daily as part of a trans-Atlantic JV between Air France-KLM, Alitalia and Delta Air Lines. For the 2011/12 winter season, Air France will operate six A380 aircraft from Paris-CDG, serving five destinations: New York-JFK, Johannesburg, Montreal, Washington and Dubai. In the summer of 2012, Air France will operate eight A380 aircraft from Paris-CDG, serving Los Angeles, New York-JFK, Johannesburg, Tokyo, Montreal and Washington. [more - original PR]
