Air France announces contingencies for general strike

Air France announced (20-Sep-2010) a general strike has been called in France on 23-Sep-2010 and some air traffic controller unions are planning industrial action. The France DGAC (Direction Générale de l´Aviation Civile) have limited the number of flights for all carriers as a result. Some short and medium-haul flights will be cancelled on the day. All of Air France's long-haul services will operate and all customers on its short and medium-haul services will be rerouted. [more]
