Air Berlin revenue down 3.3%, losses narrow in 1Q2010

Air Berlin revenue down 3.3% - financial/traffic highlights for the three months ended 31-Mar-2010:

  • Revenue: EUR690.9 million, -3.3% year-on-year;
  • Operating profit (loss): (EUR98.6 million), compared with a loss of EUR107.6 million in the previous corresponding period;
  • EBITDAR: EUR44.1 million, +46%;
  • Profit (loss) before tax: (EUR125.5 million), compared with a loss of EUR139.0 million in the previous corresponding period;
  • Net profit (loss): (EUR93.6 million), compared with a loss of EUR108.9 million in the previous corresponding period;
  • Passenger numbers: 6.2 million, +2.4%;
  • Load factor: 70.8%, -0.8 ppt;
  • Total revenue per ASK: EUR 8.50 cents, n/a;
  • Revenue per ASK: EUR 6.00 cents, -0.7%. [more]
