Air Berlin announces expanded services for Winter 2009/10

Air Berlin announced (28-Sep-09) plans to add ten new destinations and 54 non-stop flights to its route network, as part of its Winter Schedule 2009/10. The carrier is offering new services from Cologne/Bonn to Morocco and Tunisia, with direct flights to Tangier, Nador and Tunis. In addition, there are non-stop flights from Berlin/Tegel, Cologne and Munich to Cairo. Hanover, Malaga and Thessaloniki can be reached by direct flights from Stuttgart. Air Berlin is also operating services from Stuttgart to seven Italian destinations, including Venice, Naples and Palermo. Air Berlin is now incorporating Klagenfurt on the Wörthersee in its Austrian network and operating more frequent services from Salzburg, Innsbruck and Graz.
