Aéroports de Paris EBITDA up 3% in 1H2015, refines FY EBITDA guidance

Aéroports de Paris revenue up 5% - financial highlights for six months ended 30-Jun-2015:

  • Revenue: EUR1422 million, +5.1% year-on-year;
    • Aviation: EUR844 million, +5.4%;
      • Airport fees: EUR473 million, +3.6%;
      • Ancillary fees: EUR103 million, +10.7%;
      • Revenue from airport safety and security services: EUR247 million, +7.5%;
    • Retail and services: EUR448 million, +4.3%;
      • Retail activities: EUR206 million, +10.2%;
      • Car parks and access roads: EUR88 million, -4.2%;
      • Industrial services: EUR68 million, +1.2%;
      • Rental income: EUR69 million, -2.4%;
    • Real estate: EUR137 million, +0.6%;
    • International and airport developments: EUR42 million, +9.5%;
  • EBITDA (loss): EUR509 million, +3.2%;
    • Aviation: EUR168 million, +2.9%;
    • Retail and services: EUR257 million, +7.8%;
    • Real estate: EUR77 million, -6.3%;
    • International and airport developments: (EUR4 million), compared to a loss of EUR1 million in p-c-p;
  • Net profit: EUR167 million, +2.8%;
  • Total assets: EUR9894 million;
  • Cash and cash equivalents: EUR1235 million;
  • Total liabilities: EUR5975 million;
  • 2015 forecast:

Aeroports de Paris: "First half results for 2015 are in line with our forecast for the year: traffic at the Paris airports is in line with our assumptions. Retail activities are very dynamic, driven by a sales/PAX up by 11.5%, at EUR19.8. EBITDA is increasing in line with our forecasts despite the impact of a harsher winter and higher local taxes, partially offset by our productivity efforts," Augustin de Romanet, Chairman and CEO.
