Avia AM Leasing considers a public offering (IPO) and listing on the Warsaw Stock Exchange

08-Jul-2013 AviaAM Leasing, an integrated global aviation group specialising in the acquisition, lease trade and management of used commercial aircraft is considering an Initial Public Offering of shares (IPO) and debut on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. AviaAM Leasing is one of the major lessors in Russia and CIS region engaged in leasing mid-life narrowbody and regional jets.


"We have developed a company that owns a 20-aircraft-strong fleet and has gained a position of aviation expert in the region of CIS. Keeping in mind good perspectives of aviation leasing sector, especially in the CIS region, we are analyzing different sources of attracting additional capital to ensure the successful implementation of our strategy" - said Gediminas Ziemelis the Chairman of the Board of AviaAM Leasing. "Warsaw, as a regional financial centre, is the right place to conduct potential public offering. This is confirmed by several Lithuanian companies which are already successfully listed on the WSE." - added Ziemelis.

The prospectus have been submitted to the Central Bank of the Republic of Lithuania on 10 May. Decisions on the offering and listing on the Warsaw Stock Exchange are subject to market conditions and receipt of all necessary regulatory approvals, including the relevant approval of the prospectus by the Lithuanian capital markets authority and notification of the approval to the Polish Financial Supervision Authority.
