Vietnam has taken another significant step forward in the reform of its aviation system with the establishment of a corporation, Vietnam Air Navigation Services Corporation (VANSC), to will provide the nation's air navigation services. It follows moves to partially privatise flag carrier, Vietnam Airlines, later this year, as well as the licensing of new private start-up airlines for the first time.
