USD5 billion LAX improvement projects gain momentum


Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), which is undergoing a ten-year airport improvement programme expected to cost between USD5 billion and USD8 billion, has seen the Los Angeles Board of Airport Commissioners (LABAC) approve the coverage of an estimated USD1.8 billion of ‘certain’ upcoming projects. These projects are in the first phase of LAX’s Capital Improvement Programme, under Los Angeles World Airports’ (LAWA) established Project Labour Agreement (PLA). [601 words]
