HANOI (XFNews) - Thai AirAsia, a subsidiary of Malaysia-based budget carrier AirAsia, will launch daily Bangkok-Hanoi flights in a few weeks, said the company's chief executive officer Tassapon Bijleveld.
The flights could begin in September or October, Tassapon said in an email.
The firm won a licence to offer Hanoi-Bangkok flights in May.
The carrier will operate seven flights a week between the two capitals.
Malaysia-based AirAsia owns 49 pct of Thai AirAsia, with Thailand's Shin Corp holds 51 pct.
