TAV traffic up 13% in 2010

Analysis

Turkey's TAV Holdings reported that group passenger traffic increased 13% in 2010 to 47.6 million. TAV Holdings operates Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Gazipasa, Tbilisi, Monastir and Enfidha airports, as well as a broad range of airports ground handling, F&B, retail and other concessions. Shares in TAV were down 0.8% in trading on Friday.

Elsewhere, Hong Kong International Airport announced the following traffic highlights in Jan-2011:

  • Passenger numbers: 4,328,000, +10.0%;
  • Aircraft movements: 27,410, +16.9%;
  • Air cargo: 333,000, +10.8%.
