Shares in Jazeera Airways and Comair stronger

Analysis

Shares in Jazeera Airways surged 4.9% in trading on Monday. The shares ran against the general trend on the Kuwaiti bourse, which was down yesterday. The carrier continues to build its market shares out of Kuwait International Airport, and is now the largest carrier at the airport in terms of passenger traffic.

Elsewhere in the Middle East, shares in Royal Jordanian were up 0.6%, while Air Arabia gained 0.1%. Shares in Kuwait National Airways, parent of Watiniya Airways, were unchanged.

Shares in South Africa's Comair were 6.9% higher.
