Mumbai Airport - Domestic traffic bottomed out in Nov-2008?

Premium Analysis

Airports Authority of India (AAI) reports total passenger numbers at Mumbai International Airport fell 12.4% year-on-year to just under 1.9 million in Feb-2009. Domestic passenger numbers, which have been recovering slowly since Dec-2008, declined 14.0% year-on-year to approximately 1.3 million. A decline in international passenger traffic is however fast approaching the domestic decline, down 8.7% year-on-year to approximately 585,000 passengers, as Jet Airways, in particular, curtails its growth plans.
