Location of new Lisbon airport decided

Portuguese Prime Minister, Jose Socrates, has announced plans to construct a USD7.7 billion (EUR4.9 billion) greenfield airport at Alcochete, located near the upcoming Troiaresort Resort project, approximately 19 km south from Lisbon. Construction of the airport is scheduled to be completed by 2012.
