Kenya Airways launches Nairobi to Guangzhou via Bangkok service; Middle Eastern shares on the rise

Kenya Airways (+0.5%) launched two times weekly charter service from Nairobi to Guangzhou via Bangkok with B767-300 aircraft, effective 06-Jul-2010 to 05-Oct-2010.

1time (-1.9%) shares fell while Comair remained stable and Lonrho (+2.5%) rose. Meanwhile, the Johannesburg Stock Exchange's all share index surged +2.1%.

Middle Eastern shares were also on the rise with Air Arabia up by +0.6% and the shares of Royal Jordanian (+0.6%), Kuwait National Airways (+1.1%) and Jazeera (+1.9%) also increasing.
