A Japanese Government review of the Japan Civil Aviation Bureau's (JCAB) FY2009 supplementary budget has cut its allocation from JPY33.9 billion (USD379 million) to just JYP17 billion (USD179 million). Concerningly JPY10 billion (USD112 million), or more than 55% of the budget cut, has been sourced from the allocation to improve Japan's satellite navigation system.
