JAL and Virgin Blue shares ease on outlook, Korean Air up - share wrap

Virgin Blue shares dropped close to all-time lows on 06-Feb-09 as the airline's long-haul unit, V Australia took delivery of its first B777-300ER and announced plans to launch non-stop services from Melbourne to Los Angeles.

Japan Airlines shares fell another 0.5%, taking it closer to its 52-week lows set in Oct-08, as the airline's earnings and traffic outlook worsened. Korean Air shares gained 5.8% as it maintained a positive operating profit outlook for 2009. Elsewhere, AirAsia and Air China were up strongly, by +7.2% and 8.3%, respectively.
