HOCHTIEF AirPort posts strong first half results

HOCHTIEF AirPort (HTA), which has interests in Athens, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Sydney, Budapest and Tirana airports, reported a 553.3% rise in profit before taxes in the six months ended 30-Jun-07. The remarkable result was influenced by the purchase of a 75% interest in Budapest Airport and by a special dividend paid by Sydney Airport, following the airport's refinancing. Apart from special results, revenue from all airport holdings increased.
