Share prices for European LCCs finished lower in trading on Tuesday, with airberlin down 3.7%, Flybe down 3.3%, easyJet dropping 2.6%, Norwegian down 1.3% and Ryanair closing 0.7% lower. The exception was Dart Group, which owns Uk LCC Jet2.com, which finished the day 1.2% higher.
Meanwhile, Olympic Air and Cyprus Airways signed a wide-ranging cooperation agreement, aimed at strengthening of the presence of the two airlines in south-eastern Europe. The carriers will codeshare on a number of Mediterranean routes, both domestic and international, as well as pooling infrastructure resources and the provision of ground services.
