Emirates' ultra high-capacity LCC could shake the foundations

Emirates is “thinking a bit” about launching an

LCC operation, possibly with A380 equipment - a move that could potentially

re-write the rules of the aviation business. The ultra high-capacity carrier

model is untested, but Emirates, given its favourable geographic position, could

attempt it in some key markets, including India.
