Domestic US capacity contracts sharply again in Mar-2009, but early Easter last year has an impact

Capacity growth among North American carriers fell sharply in Mar-2009 year-on-year, reflecting network cuts made amid the recession-ridden US economy, but also the timing of Easter which fell in March last year. Only Canada's WestJet and Las Vegas-based Allegiant Air reported capacity growth (ASMs) in the month.
