Construction works begin in Saudi Arabia's Tabuk Airport

SYDNEY (Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation) - Ministry of Defense and Aviation announced the commencement of an expansion project at Tabuk Airport. Construction works include:

  • Airport area expansion from 33,779 to 55,779 sqm;
  • Arrival and departure areas;
  • Aerobridges;
  • Runway expansion;
  • Maintenance facility, new control tower, electricity plant;
  • Aircraft parking facilities for two large and three medium sized aircraft;
  • A 900-space car park facility.
