British Airways soars, Lufthansa steady, Air France-KLM slips – Share Wrap

Analysis

British Airways' shares soared 6.3% on Friday as investors welcomed the carrier's plans to cut further capacity this Summer and Winter in response to weak demand.

BA's premium traffic trend continued to deteriorate last month, placing further pressure on cuts in this segment, including the probable disposal of its OpenSkies unit soon.

Elsewhere, Air France-KLM dipped 0.8% as the Paris CAC Index closed virtually flat, while Lufthansa rose 0.1% in sparse trade on the Frankfurt DAX (-0.2%)
