Boeing upgrades 20-year outlook by over 5pct

Boeing has upgraded its 20-year aircraft sales outlook by 1,390

units (or 5.1%) from last year’s forecast to 28,600, due to the inclusion

of data for the Russian market for the first time. The total value of the projected

sales has risen by USD200 million from last year’s outlook to USD2.8 trillion.

It follows last year’s USD500 million surge in predicted values compared

to the 2005 forecast.
