Boeing, Airbus parent, Embraer down on swine flu concerns, B/E Aerospace keeps falling - SHARE WRAP

Analysis

Shares in major global aviation suppliers eased again yesterday over concerns about the spread of swine flu. Boeing fell 1.6%, Airbus parent EADS eased 2.2% and Brazilian aircraft manufacturer, Embraer, fell 3.3%. B/E Aerospace slumped a further 4.4% after yesterday's massive 23% fall, as it cautioned of a "further downdraft" in its major markets and predicted additional cuts to aircraft delivery rates by manufacturers in 2010.

Shares in John Menzies Plc soared not on news from its aviation business, but on confirmation it had won magazine distribution deals from Marketforce.
