American Airlines to slow capacity growth; US Airways signs agreement with Travelocity

US Airways announced it has signed a multi-year distribution agreement with Travelocity. The carrier's full range of content will be offered through the Sabre Holdings global distribution system. Shares in US Airways finished 7.7% lower on Tuesday, leading a decline in US airline stocks.

Delta finished yesterday 5.6% lower, while Republic Airways was 4.9% down. American Airlines shares fell 2.7%. The carrier announced plans to slow its capacity growth in 2011, due to higher fuel prices.
