Air France to raise winter capacity 6.4%, focus on Latin America, Asia

PARIS (XFNews) - Air France-KLM SA said its Air France unit will raise winter flight capacity on its network by 6.4 pct year-on-year in terms of available seat-kilometres (ASK), with the largest capacity increase focused on its Latin American and Asian routes.

This follows a 9 pct capacity increase made over the summer season.

Capacity on the Latin American network will rise 25 pct from last winter, while Asian capacity will rise 13 pct.

On routes to the Middle East and Africa, capacity will rise 11 pct.

North American routes will see only small seasonal adjustments, Air France said.
